Official founding of Associação Chiandanda, at the Mediateca 07 de Agosto (Largo das Escolas), with approval of the founding documents by the Installation Committee and an opening address by the Patriarch, Rev. Bishop Manuel João Eduardo.
Health fairs held in the locality of Muceque Cariapuco, Icolo e Bengo province, seeing around 600 residents from the municipality and surrounding areas.

Talks on civic and patriotic education aimed at the riverside communities of the Cuanza.
Construction of a school and a health post, and reconstruction of a Catholic Church chapel, in the locality of Caloje, municipality of Quiçama.
Construction of a memorial dedicated to the Patriarchs of the Chiandanda Clan, in the locality of Caloje, Quiçama.
Publication of a work on the participation of the Chiandanda Clan and the peoples of the Cuanza Corridor in the resistance to colonialism and the slave trade.
Completion of the survey on the agro-pastoral and fishing potential of the Cuanza Corridor region, launched with the participation of small-scale farmers and fishers.
Active participation in public and private civic initiatives and campaigns — vaccination drives, civic, health and environmental education, vocational training and job creation, with an emphasis on young people and women.
